Sportier version of the S1 model launched in 1955. Based on a model that resembled the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud I (the only component keeping those models from being regarded as identical twins being the redesigned front grille), the S1 Continental did not feature factory-built bodywork. Bentley only provided the chassis and engine unit (customers had to arrange their own coachwork). It featured a slightly tuned 4.9L 6-inline engine and an automatic gearbox.
